A head gasket kit is only around £40 and then there the coolant, oil and oil filter but it's the labour that costs the money. If its 6 hours labour then its around £240 just for labour.

wont cost as much in labour as a mate will do it, but just wondering on basic cost's people would pay!

Head is coming off on tuesday. The engine has seemed overly hot!!would rather it be a head gasket though???
