right went to bodyshop today
he told me the paint wouldnt stay on my arches as they are bubbley
surley this aint right
or is there a special base coat/primer i can use

im sure they rub them down b4 sprayin to get rid of the orange peal as people call it

what I did with mine was sanded them down, painted them, you could still see the bubbles in the plastic, but the paint had also ran so I flatted the paint and re-painted them this time they were perfectly smooth.

not at all. GSi's come with the texture on the arches, sideskirts and bumpers.
