what is the best radiator to have in my xe! and by theory a 1.4 sri radiator should keep it at normal running temp! correct?

I believe the TD one is larger but a standard 1.4 one works ok. If in doubt you could renew it to ensure its efficient. Mine started leaking and cost me £45 for a new one.

1.4 16v sport with aircon one is the biggest you'll find.

yep as rob says 1.4/1.6 with air con is the biggest either use one of them with a top hose from a mk3 astra gsi or a standard 1.4/1.6 rad with a 1.0 12v top hose

the only reall problem you may find is if the car starts to over heat then the rad can't cope with the extra thermal load. but even cars with TB etc don;t seem to run badly

i thought about a cool thermo for mine, but was told it wasnt worth it. dunno tho

not sure on the stats but you can get a fan switch that kicks in sooner, im thinking of getting one for mine

I have a std 1.4 rad and its doesnt get hot even whwn giving it some only time I seem the guage go up much is in traffic but even then the fan only cuts in at about 105 and cools it to 100 so i think a cooler fan switch is def going to be fitted

yeah they are the same. will bodge something, it HAS to get to PVS
