what is the standard xe limiter? mine revs round to just past 7k. is this normal for an xe?

yeah my xe feels like it would keep pulling past 7200, mine goes off clock at 7k on standard 1.4 dials.
also goes off clock at 130mph to 
ooooh should not hav said this some1 will get upset

thats weird cos as far as im aware mine is standard and yet it revs past 7k

i disagree m8 xe feels stronger from 5k an above for some reason and because it pulls strong to limiter suggests that it is not bein revved for hell of it

Get some ARP rod bolts, then you can happily rev it to 8k

Iv got the 1.4 sport corsa and well its fucked now, basically cause i spent so much time on or near the limiter but wat was interesting is under load i.e. wheels not loosing traction mine bounced at around 6800rpm, but not under load i.e. burning some rubber it would go right past 7000rpm. Head gasket went now so has the oil pump so hello X16XE

corsa sports have a 6.5k limiter, it may show its going over that, but chances are it isn't, remember ur needle pointing at the dial isn't gonna be 100% accurate.

X14XE is 6500RPM, C/X16XE is 6750RPM, C20XE is 6800RPM
