i went up to my mates the other day and found out that i had low oil. it wasnt even showing up on the dip stick. i just checked again now and its needing more again. i dont think its leaking because i leave it sitting for ages and there aint any marks when i move it. not even little drops. it over heats a fair bit when am driving about town.

anyone got any ideas

help zone but mine does use quite a bit too, depends if you have a heavy foot suppose.

my old engine used to use oil a lot but never showed anything on idle till i got it up on ramps had a good look and found a leak which was only leaking when engine was under strain somehow

its a c16xe engine in a gsi. its only done 51k.

no not smoking. its running fine and has been serviced every 3000 miles so should have any problems that i can think of
