Whats the best oil to use in a 1.4 16v corsa SRI

I do thrash it a fair bit so don't mind spending a bit on oil.

go to vauxhall and get their 10w/40 semi oil, can't beat it.

Should i get the filter from there aswell?
How much oil do i need?
And is worth putting any aditives in?

yes get the filter aswell they are not expensive get 5 litres your car only takes 3 litres and wouldnt bother with additives.
