fitted new rear bake shoes today, while i was fitting them i caught the rubber seal on the brake cylinder of one of the rear drums and lost a bit of brake fluid, i quickly stopped it then put everything back on and back together. when i fired the car up to go for a drive the brakes where shot, pedel went straight to the floor, did nothing. Am i right in thinking i need a new brake cylinder on that perticular side??

if your going to replace the rear wheel cylinder, as a rule you should replace them as a pair.
