then when we get married we will mortgage on combined earnings and move to somewhere bigger and in a nicer area, then start poppin out the babies

Yeh, 2 years now

Just dont want a mortgage together untill we are married. Probably have a pre nup as well (even thou i am a very strong believer that you only get married once, stay together forever and work through problems) just in case

Ed i know what you mean, if i was to buy in swindon i wouldnt get anything for less than 100/110k, and your talking a small 1 bed house for that!

Shame we didnt go joint as we could have got 120k joint, but then again im on the ladder now and have 70k worth of equity behind me, should be worth more now thou.

Its so hard for single first time buyers to get on the market, no offence to anyone but if you live in a large town/city you are proper fucked!!!
