What kind of marks are they? Are they through to the metal?

actually it seems like there's a plastic (or I dont know what..LOL)...check the first pic. It's not a scratch from a metal which is deep of anything of the sort

Get some T-cut and a bit of elbow grease, should come off. Other than that a bit of rubbing compound, but go easy with that stuff or it may take your paint off. I'm not too sure how to use it.

try some G3 on an electric polisher. If that dose'nt take them out then nothing else will, including any scratch x or t-cuy, everything else
u'll have to paint it

you want the G3 one, as its quite heavy duty, will cut it down nicely. But would'nt be much good to your scratch's unless you use the G3 on a polisher. You may find that the higher grade farcela compounds are to fine and won't removed the scratches as well

yes, that's what a friend (mechano) told me about that. SO what what's need to be done then, first to stop it continue peeling off, 2. to sort of repair this?

Peel it all off? LOL

I'll get better pics later on...but I'm almost sure about the laquer thing

there's only one way to repair to and make it look okay, unfourantely thats to paint it. But try the G3 it may help the look of it abit. I had an idea, i would'nt recommend doing it incase it went wrong. But how about you smooth the affected areas with 1500 wet untill its nice and flat, so the area where the lacquer peeled is flat with the rest. Then use the G3 to removed the sand paper scratches? Either it would look okay (but still not near as good if it was painted) or it would make it worse. What you think?

hmmm.....i wont go for the 1500...LOL....i know how to hold a pen, but not too much using these....

But is it possible to get this only these small ones painted? or do I need to get the dorr done completely (actually it's the drivers door only which has these)...

Affected area's can be "blown in" Prepere the scratchs mask off the whole door, roof, wing quater panel, but leave a space of around 3 inch's around the scratches not masked. Then spray the scratch are area's with your silver colour code, lacquer it as well, use the spray gun to move lighter as you reach the edge of the masked area.. Then remove some of the masking tape around the area, not two much more say another 2-3 inches, and then very lightly spray some raw 2k thinners around the edge's u sprayed. This helps the "blend" in the area's you painted, so it looks orignal, and dose'nt contrast to the rest of the paint on the door

you really would just have to price around a few places, a job like this would vary so much in price, not that it would be expensive anyway, just depends where you ask. To be honest if i think if you took it someplace where you would "know" a employe (sp?) you could prob get it done for less £45 or so. Its only a very small job, which would only cost around £20 or less of materials and time spent, but afterall a bodyshop charge at minium£40 for any work they do, no matter how small. But if one was going to do it themselves, saying you had the equipment and know how, you could probaly do it for less than £20 or so for materials, but thats if you could get the paint in small quanites less than a 1/4 litre, which most ppl can't so the body shop is in advantage for they can mix up enough paint for whats required.
