My key is a bog standard key, but i have the ring around the barrel. If i sold my engine with ECU. Would the buyer still need the part thats wrapped around the barrel?

Heres my barrel

Basically, i have taken the 1.4 out of my Corsa and replaced it with a 2.0
I now want to sell the 1.4 and all running gear but worried that the immobiliser will screw things up for potential buyer. But not sure if i have an immobiliser cos my key isnt like the usual chip key

all x14xe ecu's had an immobilisor built in.
your transponder around the barrel looks odd tho, should look like the one in my pic above.
