i got a jvc head unit and fitted it last week.the thing wont hold it memory ones the ignition is off.ive cut the red and yellow wirs and swapped them and crimped them 2gether but all thats done is made all the dash lights come on and stay on even when the ignition is offf and keys are out.i cut the wires comming from the car itself as there are no wires comming from the head unit,just a hole where the block connects into.wot do i do now??

I would suggest you read the instruction manual instead of guessing.

You shouldn't need to cut any wired. Most DIN looms should have bullet connectors to attatch the ignition love to the right wire.
Consult the instruction manual.

the head unit is connected directly to the plug that come from the car,ive cut the red and yellow wire comming from the car not the stereo.i havtn got the iso connector so is there any way i can do it

Oh dear god I think you have cut the cars loom 
You need the wiring adaptor from somewhere like halfords and you swap the red and yellow wires on the wiring harness....
YOU NEVER TOUCH THE CARS LOOM!!
