yes but it is slow as anything. just need to set up a network place and share it on the network. i.e connect both computers to network, right click on my docs, go to properties - sharing and select share this folder on network.

then on other go to mycomputer, click my network places on left had side, and drag and drop files form inside the folder to you new computer

right click on a folder then click share this folder. Might help but I would expect there to be "my shared folder already there"

Are you running any firewalls etc?

You could try the Files and Settings Trasnfer wizard, if all else fails.

fella make sure they are on the same workgroup, prperties on my computer & computer name, make sure they are the same.

assign them static ip's, e.g if your using a router and its 192.168.0.1 assign one pc 192.168.0.2 and the other 192.168.0.3 standard subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 and default gateway on the pc's of 192.168.0.1

and try and ping each pc from command prompt, if that works you should be able to share folders, and then view them in my network places.

if fall else fails call me u retarded schlagg
