Don't bother swapping a 1.4 or 1.6 for your 1.0 or 1.2. There is no point. If you go and buy an Auto Trader they will have cars in there that actually have these engines in them

my 1.2 is soon to have a 1.6 in it, i dont see the problem

You're wasting your time. It will cost more to insure than a standard 1.6 and be harder to sell...

Waht if you want to build a track car and don't want a sunroof, or want a very early one L-plate to trya nd say it's pre-aug 92 for CAT purposes then?

but lets face it, if your after handling your not gonna buy a corsa, so its only good for straight line speed....so you may aswell go for a 2.0 rather than waste thousands getting a 1.6 to the same spec

I'm with ed on this one all the way on this one. Vauxhall made a 1.6 so buy a ready made real one!

If the handling is already bad in a corsa, your not really going to want to make it any worse, therefore you wouldnt want to put a 2.0 in it
