Hi,

My head unit has been owrking fine for the past 2 months while installed....all of a sudden its not working this morning!

I think I have narrowed it down to 2 things?

Either a blown fuse or a loose connection?

Is there any obvious way i could tell that it would be the fuse?

check wires first, its easier, just pull it out and look behind to make sure every wire is still connected and not shorting out

Okay this keeps happening. Do you think it could be the head unit itself?

i have this problem too with my 9812RB. Very suprised for an alpine new unit to be gay. everytime i go over a big pot hole it cuts out for a sec.

On my HU its the plug at the back which is shite. Even though its new and plugged in properly, it still does it.

Take the hu out, put it on your lap, play it, and wobble the wires.

Right I keep getting this problem,

It will be working fine on the night. The next morning i will try to switch it on and I get nothing, I then take out the iso block and re connect it and it will work!

Anyone got any suggestions?

try a new iso adapter from car accessory shop, obviously just a loose connection
