When i start me car up it revs at 200 to 500 then makes it way to 1000 but when i set of to go it drops right down to 200 and just doesn't go anywere!! I have had a new lamba sensor and a collant temprature sensor and they haven't done anythin. I had a diagnostics check on it and all it said was that it was running rich. I am thinkin of gettin a compression test done to check out the coils etc. Is this worth it and do any of you have any idea what the problem could be???? It is an N Reg 1.4 16V

whats the compression got to do with the coil?

Whats the ICV??? I don't no to be honest with you, someone told me to get a compression test because one of me valves might be sticking or one of the coils might be knackered!
