Aye, but it goes like a rocket. And i do mean its SERIOUSLY quick. Turbo lag is awful, gets to about 4000-4500rpm though and shifts. Blokes called MAtt, and when it hits the revs, stand clear as it goes all over the road.
Runs out of puff at about 6000prm though so not much of a power band to play with.
But who cares, its fooking mental!!!!

did anyone hear that supercharged mini down southend last week saw it on sundat morning when i went back up and it shot round a roundabout like a rocket

That the orange one? (not the one that goes round Dford). Had a massive gearbox whine on it, rollcage etc.

i saw an orange mini on Saturday, was behind the Jap CTR on the seafront but was queuing so didnt hear the engine.
& saw your arm hanging out of D4 holding a funny ciggarette

Standard Mini gearboxes are totally shocking 4speed jobs. To get any speed out of a Mini you need a Quaife job and an LSD.
