Does it have to have a button on the outside of the car? cos i was thinking or wiring it to my central locking?
and what solinoids do u use, cos iv got 2 left over from a central locking kit, will they be strong enough?

No there doesnt have to be a button.
But many people will tell you there does. Car fully road legal and passes MOT provided someone can get into car manually from outside -this includes putting a hand in and using the internal handle. (therefore at MOT time just put the car in with windows down)
Had loads of trouble police & courts over this and know the above to be true!

I would say it's a good idea to have buttons on the outside, unless you like being trapped in a burning car dying.

Buttons are definately reccomended.
I had mine wired to my clifford, used it for 6months then had buttons put in dont think ive ever used my fob to gain entry since pain in the ass.

i dont have buttons on outside only on key fob, passes MOT fine, as said is a cunt when car is at garage etc as no1 can eva work them. going to see if i can get them improved posibily buttons outside in the new year.
oh and if you are trapped inside a burning car there is a high chance the wires would be fucked so wouldnt work anyway.
