shouldn't be a problem... cud just try using a filler primer and sanding then filler prime again .etc or even some bodyfiller but in all honesty the liquid metal shud be ok

just groove/etch the edges so it gets held in and doesn't fall out

I used body filler, worked fine. Mine were curbed to foook, but can out fine.
