Got a Xcite tv screen of Ebay. Got it and I have not got cables to power it. Trying to get them at the moment, which is being a nightmare but anyway. I really want to get this screen in my car now. I have got one cable that comes out of the screen which I assume runs video/sound and also power. What I would like to know is, are these universal cables which I can buy from any good car audio shop? Also is the same with Brackets?

that cable just looks like svideo connector,
find out the voltage of it, I'd hope it was 12 volt, if thats the case you should be able to find something in your local maplin store,
providing your local one has atleast a couple of knowledgeable staff, take you screen in, explain your dilema and they might just be able to help you

Cheers. It is 12v, but that is the only cable I have got. No other points for power that I can see. Can you get one of these cables that also puts power through??

That cable buddy needs the other cable to go with it, you will spend absolutely ages fucking around trying to make one fit.
If it is new they havent supplied you with the connecting cable.

hrm, possibly then, again, go ask maplin, they have cables for alot of things

They would need a 6 pin mini din cable that gave you 2x RCA, 1x video RCA, 2 lives and an earth and all in the right configuration. Finding that out would mean chopping the connector off.

all my screens have come with a black box which has rcas on and a red/black wires
