my amp is pushing out 1100Wrms, and the subs (according to their homepage) is 1600Wrms

OOOOOOOOOHHHHHHH,
just found their SX line is 1000wrms but only 2ohm DVC...
but, You think they could make one of these SX subs 4ohm DVC.
SURELY then id be laughing

Jakey boy, does it sound poo if you have 1 powerfull 12" sub, and 2 much lower powered 8" subs in the same boot?

Not sure how much bass from the 8" subs you would actually hear. Doubt it would sound bad. might actually give your bass slightly more definition

sounds good. ill give it ago then. otherwise i'd just end up bining my other amp

is there much sound difference between the SX and XXX subs, or is it just their WRMS that seperates them do you know?

im running 140.4 db with an sx and my m8 mart is runnig 141.8 with his xxx... now mart has had a new box made from the standard rectangle box to a quallity 4x ported box hich has made a big difference... i believe its not just the sub you need to be looking at, you need to start looking into having a second bettery.. look at how you are actually doing a "BURP" for spl comp whether it be a tone or music.... what is your box tunned to..what is your car tunned to theres alot of ket factors whcih you need to look at if you want it loud...... and also whether you want it a spl car or sq car

if your looiing at running 2 differentsize subs heres what i suggest

2x10" and 1x15"

2x8" and 1x12"

this is my opinion but if you have the sizes to close together i was on the understanding the air movement with subs close together size wise would cause cancellations of the sound and also may cause some damage.. i do stand corrected just my opinion

im going for a second battery, yellow top split charged to my spare wheel well.

140.1db from a 1000wrms sub? thats pretty good. What amp is powering it?

i'll go for 2x8" and 1x12" sub (providing RE return my email about making custom subs)

whats a 'burb' btw
with out trying to sound chavy, i just want my car to sound loud. not too bothered about quality, just want it to be able to go loud and not melt

all i gota do now, is hope the RE cnuts reply to me

Thanks again mate
