Got mine today  im really pleased with it the way you can change the colour buttons to like 512 different colours, sound quality is great, and the screen is really nice, also the glide touch is easy to use even though i thought it would be hard  wish it came with a remote though as im used to one but maybe i should stop being lazy, any tips from anyone for setting it up with the LP filter etc, am i best off leaving the EQ on flat and tuning it through manual things ?

P.S Infinity comps upfront and jl subs in the boot, if that helps with the tuning question

awsome headunit. i got a remote for mine aswell for only £25
i still havnt had time to set everything up yet so no advice really lol

 im getting to much bass out the front speakers but cant find out how to turn the bass off  all i can find is equaliser settings etc but none of them seem to have no bass

i am glad my 9851 is more user friendly even if i doesnt have as many colour diffrences or remote capability

keep hold of the mx button and it should take u to the equalizer setting which let u set high(mids), mid (6x9), and low (sub). Turn off the bass by selecting the right frequency.
(this info is off my alpine HU which is 9532)
