U wont get any performance out of it but i wud got for a drilled air box with a pannel filter... cheaper and gets the baaaaaaarrrrrrp your after

u need to drill holes in the bottom bit thats nearest the floor by the wing...

doesnt drilling holes in the bottom of the air box defite the object of having an air filter. As dirt ect can still get in. Or have I got the wrong end of the stick here :S

no, as long as the holes are drilled below the filter, all the air will travel through the filter... Open yours up and have a look, you'll see what i mean!

Would drilling the airbox defeat the point of having a cold air feed? Would changes in air pressure mean that the supply of air bypasses the cold air feed and instead comes from a poor supply of air trapped against the inner wing...?

Panel, induction kit or Viper/Black Mamba. They're all available.

Fit the panel on the pug and you should expect better mpg. Diesels are great with air filter upgrades.

But if the airbox is drilled, thus changing the pressure in the airbox, so that air is sucked out of the random holes underneath the box rather than the cold air feed... then it would defeat the point

i was been stupid. Went and had a look and i can see where you are coming from now. Layout wasent as i rememberd it I thought the filter sat on top with the box and inlet thingy all below dont ask me why .

I personally would have thought that drilling the air box wouldnt effect the cold air feed that much as it is only really in use at speed in which case the pressure would be about equal anyway wouldnt it
