Iv got 2 pioneer 305c enclosed subs in enclosed boxes, i think the bass it to punchy for me, so im thinking of making holes it the box to make it ported.
Will this sound crap and will it damage the sub?

will sound poop as boxes should be bigger and tuned if ported.
chavs go drilling holes normally

how about if i make a new box but bigger, then port it, will it still sound pants>?

big box and port it yes....u need to look into types of ports as there are differnt types, i have gone from a none ported box to a ported box, i should get to wire it tommorow as i didnt have time tonight....My port is a letter box tunned to around 45hz
by the way im running to 15s

The reason why i changed to ported is because i blew one speaker out the box :O...moving to much air, and b4 u ask the box is big enough

old box, new box also has a double thickness front :S

lol
cant use screws on my subs as they jump out there box. I have to use t nuts and bolt them down.
