The oil in my car looks like it was piped straight in from the north sea, so I'm figuring I need an oil and filter change. The filter is at the back of the engine, below the inlet manifold. Is there any problem taking the manifold off've a 1.5 turbo diesel, and what bits (aside from the filter) will I need to replace?

You dont need to take manifold off to change the oil filter!

just remove the water Reservoir and you can get it out easily
