the heatshield on my gsi is rattling it aint really that bad but its still fookin anoying. how easy r they to get off and whats the best way to do it.
im thinking of getting something sharp and just butchering it off

dead easy
i rammed a screwdriver down the side/seam and unfolded it all the way down
then pulled it off

yeh i thought it would be easiest to rip it at the seem but i think the spot welds might give me grief
was yours a gsi? cos the gsi ones are fookin massive cos of the 4-2-1

mines does the same m8 - bloody annoying - takes the purr from the zorst away!
i ended up buying a brand new one from vauxhall - £38 with the bolts 
oh well - should be nice and shiney when its on! (if i get round to fitting it!)

looks like ill be using a screwy then. the only grinder ive got at home is the plastic one in my glovebox!
