Hi guys
How does the 4x4 system on the cav work, what makes it engage and disengage, i no that oil is required from the steering pump, but what tells the system to work?
is it in 4wheel drive all time wiv this set up?

Think you'll have more luck having a dig on mig web, as corsa owners generally kill cav turbo's for the engine and F28

There is an ecu and solinoid (accumulator) that engages and disengages the drive to the rear wheels via a clutch in the transfer box, its 4wd at all times, except when braking over 16mph.
