Just been out in my fucking corsa and found hell of a fucking fault with the alarm. Its a CAT1 alarm that i paid £250 including installation for.

I just went out there now, and i used my key to open the door, forgetting to disarm the alarm. So it set the alarm off. I left my keys with the fob on in the house so i couldnt be arsed to go get them. I went in the car n put my keys in the ignition and all the lights come up on the dash, but the alarm was still goin off and the led was still flashing. So i tried starting it, and it obviously wouldnt start with the immobilizer.

Then i noticed the handbrake light going off and on. So, i took the handbrake off and turned the key, and i could fucking start the car!!!!!!!!!

Phoning up the installers 2moz 2 rip in2 em like fuk.

why?

i think they have connected the ground for the alarm to the parking switch or something, cos the alarm module loses power when i take off the handbrake...
