since the engine swap i have no reverse lights i think it may be a duff sensor. anyway mot is coming next week will it pass without reverse light?

If there is a reverse light there, i.e your car has a clear lens at the back for a reverse light, then it has to be in working order.

Just tape over where the reverse light would be and you will pass because you "have no reverse lights".

These posts always make me laugh where you have someone who 100% knows what they are talking about like J100 because they do this for a living.
