If i split one of my pre out phono cables so as it went to two seperate amps would the sound quality be massivly effected? As i have just bought a new amp to run my sub and have an old set of 6*9's kicking about that i thought i could use my old amp to run as i will get fcuk all money wise for selling both so might as well lob them into the car as well.

well by using 6x9's your not really a sound quality boff, so you wont notice any difference.

depends on the spec of the headunit, if you got Hi-volt preouts then it should be ok to use a Y-splitter on the phonos, if not you will loose alot of signal thru the phonos resulting in poor quality sound at the speaker
