Just started my car ths afternoon, went out and then left it outsidde my house. When i have just came to start it, turned the key and just got a single click.
Can anyone tell me waht they think might be up?

Did you leave the ignition on, fan/radio etc??

nope, tried to start it with jump leads from my mates car, but still no luck??

starter motor? could be a bad earth or could be nackered, the click you here is the solinoid i think
