drove my car home and as i locked the car the end of the key has snapped inside the door lock 
Ive been trying for the last hour trying to pull the snapped end peice out with.....
- tweezers
- magnetic screwdriver
-touching a magnat on a peice of metal and trying to pull the snapped bit out....
nothing seems to be working....
do u think i can manage to get it out? any tips or will i be looking at buying a new igniton barrel and a set of new locks?

do you have a spare key?
if so open the other side
open the door with the key in
remove the lock
and take to a locksmith.
all will be well if you havent damaged the lock by trying to remove old half of key

its just a basic 1.2 8v 1994 swing corsa.
I did use the spare (looks like a cheap cut version of the origional key i have) that broke....
i still have the origional thank god.
How easy will it be for my boyfriend then to remove the lock out of a scale of 10 
Do you know how much they charge?
Im friendly with a locksmith (works next door to me) i might ask him prehaps he has something to suck it out?

try some long nosed pliers, if not youll ave to remove the lock, difficulty scale of removal - 6/10

could try using half a tennis ball over the lock, then makng a suction by pushing it, might pull it out abit

put some superglue ont the snapped bit of the key an put it back in the lock an leave it to dry then pull it out!! shud stick to the bit stuck inside!!! worked for me!!

plunger bit of water to aid seal and then plunge away
