gearbox is whining and is there anything i can put in it to help, oil would be good, never checked it before 
where is the hole to put oil in?

top of the selector tower you can fill it up

Drill a hole in the side.... pour it in there

where is the selector tower? and is it something that unscrews, pour oil in?

yup inbolt it and pour in
undo the level plug aswell so you know you have put the right amount in
|

on the gearbox.
on the top is the filler
the level plug is on the side near the d'shaft
