Is there an easy way of finding out information about the hardware in my computer? I would like to know how much ram I have for a start and also what type? Basically so I can go to PC world and ask for some! Is it expensive?

open CD drive 17 times and say "bless you lord" while doing it. and it should print a list out of the space bar

sounds abit like my old pc, bout 3 years ago mine was made and i had it completely updated at a cost of 260 quid

You need 184-pin DIMM modules - PC2100 or higher...

Could of gone to: "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\MSInfo" and that would of told you all you need to know

Claire, buy yourself a 512mb module, PC2100, this is what your motherboard supports. and make sure its DDR 133/266
