go to control panel, and click on sound options or wotever its called, make sure that they all on max, then make sure that you are actually playin sound

also check it aint on mute
also my bro's sound cut evry now an then shut the machiune down and restart
also check that the rigt output is selected

and make sure its plugged into the right hole, ie not mic etc

go into the bios and make sure it aibnt disabled itself as it sometimes does this when the comps being a tit!
