been offered some of these cheap, wondered if they would go on either of the engines above, no inlet with them tho, would have to purchase seperately,linkage and loom tho

carbs or tb's?? should go on easy with the manifold, can buy them from speedexpistons?

think its tbs not sure tho...they were off a nova valver with rally cams and come with alpha body management n stuff...i just mite be able to buy em off me mate beaty, think itd just need an inlet and maybe jets then setting up?

setting up will be about 400+ quid....

They will be TB's if they are running with an ECU

it could be a ign only ecu though.
If it's carbs then you need a flatr manifold, if TB's then you can use a downdraft manifold, which speedex do.
45mm bodies are a little big on a 1.6 but if you intend to run massive cams then you will get away with it.

If you;ve been offered the TB#s and ecu for £300 I'd say take it. the TB's alone are 450 new.

45 are more for the 2.0ls their too big for a 1.4 and 1.6, im gona go for twin 40s on my 1600 but setting up isnt 400quid
