Finnaly got the 2L back on the road yester day, fuck me it still shifted!!

Took it to get the tracking done today when smoke started coming from under the bonnet. Pulled over and there was a little flame at the back of the engine. I ran into a pub where ther was just a cleaner there and asked her for a fire extinguisher. The thik bitch said she couldnt give me one because they wasnt hers to give out. I could have saved it if she had given me one. 10 minustes later, 1 wrote of corsa and a lot of black smoke.

Big hands to the fire service took them 7 minutes from making the call

Its pretty much only the engine bay that got it so other parts are for sale in the classified

Ouch!! Sorry to hear that mate, for the sake of a 30 quid fire extinguisher aswell.

Not good!

I wouldn't have taken "no" for an answer from the cleaner, though......grab the extinguisher, argue about it later.

I couldnt see one, the lights n that were off, luck some one was there so I could use the phone. Left my mobile in the car and there was no way i was going back for that!!

I had about 10k robbed of it after it been in a body shop a year and half, then ive put more money back to gettin it on the road at least, now its set on fire.

Im not supesticious but to me its seems like its not supposed to be on the road

yeah you see i had the same thing but i did sumit about mine , i woul;d have taken that fire extingusher and be faced with a charge for theft rather than a car potentially blowing up.

ive just got back from goin to pick the car up now




i honesty cant beleive how much bad luck this lad gets. i took afew pics on my phone + des got a load on his camera that will be uploaded by tomorrow. took afew piccys with mine parked next to it + it just shows how bad the the fire damage is to the top of the engine. seems to be mainly damage to the wiring + pipes etc. we think that it was a leaking fuel line that caused it all.
it could have been worse though as if the fire brigade hadnt got there when they did it couldve blown up next to a power sub station thingy


and just to make his day worse the guy who was meant to be recovering the car decided not to turn up + ignore any phone calls we made to him
