Does anybody know the output of the standard car300 headunit?

Im asking because my sony 6x9s are distorting on the low freq, the mids and highs sound shit also.

Im thinking about upgrading the headunit, will this improve the distorting problems? Do i get this problem because the standard unit does not have enough power?

Also, how dificult is it to remove and install a headunit, because halfrauds wont £40 off me to install it.

is it a corsa b..... chances are that the wirin's crap, i put a new headunit in and it still wudnt power my 6x9's, two amps and a boot build later.... i'm laughing

So you rekon i'll need a proper full ice install to improve the sound.I thought i could just wack in a better headunit with more power and i'd be sorted.

Are my xplod sonys distorting because of the power there getting? Or they gettin too much power?

I've tried removing the old unit with a small allan key that is in the handbook but no luck How do i remove them?

allan key takes out the blanking plugs u can get a tool to fit in the holes left, then simply pull it out

i never fitted the radio, i'm guessing vauxall did they better have it wired correctly
