Is that 7200rpm rev limit on the std revgauge?? Cause it over reads, at 7000 it's off the gauge already. I can hit 136.something at 7750rpm in 5th on my 1.4 16V nova, TB's are the way forward and no messing about, they can be on and running for abotu £1500 depending on what ecu you go for.

Can you get a laptop on your omex cause that will tell you then, on emerald it stores max rpms so youc an see how far over the hard cut you managed. I would have though with cams you would rev higher tbh. If you stuck on TB's (about £900) and a remap you'd see well over 160BHP.

not go omex just a unichip type chip. next step would be omex/dta type management then throttle bodies but car is forsale. id expect over 160 with tb's to behonest but its not worth the money to me any more bored of the corsa

no its not an actual uni chip, its mapped by a bloke near me, he has his own chip, i watched him do it but it was all above me as he ripped out some chip in my ecu and resouldered some other one in then plugged it into his laptop and went to work on it for several hours.
