get some 1200 grit and makesure its nice and damp before progressing.

Then sand over your lights, they shud start to go slightly hazy and begin to show tiny scratches.

After about 5 mins of sanding, get ur tint spray and follow the instructions on the tin.

Have a cup of tea and releax

noooo WET and dry paper means u can use it either wet or dry.

If u try using wet and dry paper dry on ur lights it will create deep scratches....a definete no no.

use it wet tho and its not so abrasive so wont score the plastic but will provide light enough scratches for a good adhesion to occur!

no, using it wet just meens that the paper cleans itself and is easy to sand.
you need to make sure you sand off all the bobbles and the emark sign etc...

Why the hell would you want to sand the lights?...

All you want to be doing is "keying" the surface to make the paint stick/grip to the surface without flaking off.

Use a scotchbrite pad... then give the mirrors a good clean with thinners/panel wipe, tack cloth them down do there is no dry solvent on the surface or any contaminents, then give them a couple of coats of plastic primer. Then hit them with your coloured lacquer... easy as that... no sanding tho lol.
