I've managed to get masking tape stuck on paint. It was used to hold something on but after taking the maskin take off, a few bits just wont budge. Just spent 30 mins trying to get it off & now its started rainin :/

I've tried washing up liquid, cooking cleaner & even vinegar (was suggested)

any1 got any better ideas that might actually work without stripping my paint off

try gently heating it with hairdryer, that might help release it. Sounds like something a bit more than masking tape. pmsl at the above pic by the way

Try some petrol, it may get it off. dont smoke wen you attempt it though. then again soak it in juice and spark it up, burn the funcker off.

paper has magical bonding properties when wet...

Take a piece of A4, wet your lips. Hold the paper between your lips and leave for approx 3-4mins. Now try and pull it off

Personally I wouldnt use hairdryer/heat. I'd wet it as much as possible and use some white spirit but wash the spirit off as soon as its done its job

use a toffee wheel, wat i use for removing glue left on by car badges, its like a rubber disc which attaches to a drill. removes door strip glue in about 30 seconds a side.
