Ok a couple of things that seems fucked on it. Its one of the 1.0 12v 3cyl things

When it come to idle when there is load on it like lights but not always the revs will drop right out to 500 rpm then pick up back to 1000 rpm

other thing is that when it gets hot and only when it is hot it sometimes stalls or when i switch it off when i come to start it again it wont start but if i leave it for 5 mins it will start stright up again.

Any ideas

right mate, its your idle valve.

costs about £50-100. to get a new one.

allways happenes on 1.0L 12V corsas. including mine, my mates, and everyone else who ownes one! lol

fook idle air control sound more like crank sensor thats fooked especialy with the heat thing mine did this new sensor is £30ish from vaux

MY Dad is a driving insructor, he only ever had 1 12v and he's never going to buy another one. Vauxhall did tell him they were aware of the problems and still changed it under warranty when the car had run out of warranty
