i've just had my SECOND silver stubby aerial nicked off my corsa c by some thieving t**t last night when my car was parked outside my house
since my first one was nicked - when i screwed in my second one, i superglued it in. but that didnt stop em! they just ripped out the whole bloody aerial assembly!
anyone got any ideas or tips on how i can have a aftermarket aerial wihtout it being swiped? (apart from rigging it up to my positive battery terminal?! - i already thought of that. lol)

Get yourself a Richbrook anti-theft one for £20. Give a couple of the lads on here a shout like Craig @ carnoisseur

yeh was thinkin bout that mate - they seem pretty good dont they. only prob is tho like i said i superglued the last one in and the sods just ripped out the whole aerial base assembly with it!

u could get the ariels that go in the inside of the windscreen, but ur likely to get crap reception

Cover the ariel in acid so when the pikeys stick there hands round it there fingers fall off.

yeah... i had a chrome one.... but wasnt screwed in fully, instead of the twats unscrewing it off they fucking broke it off...

i need a new aerial and aerial base.... they also cos a small bent on thr roof around where the aeial base was

(all for a £12 aerial which they wouldnt be able to use cos they fucking brok it off!)

do it,mates dad knew someone whos garage was constantly getting broken into so he wired it up except from what i remember it wasnt running off a battery it was running off the mains

You could just unscrew it at night so ing to there's nothng to nick.

some t*** stole my aerial last night from in a car park, so now i have to get a new one from somewhere if they had money then they would not have to steal one as they would have a car to put it on.

Yeh I got 2 robbed also so I got one of them Richbrook ones and glued it on with Araldite

But the whole base can just be ripped off. if it's not on dispaly they are less likely to go for it esp a £8 aerial

put on a normal 1 fit a camera out side ur house wait till it gets nicked again and twat the little fukers!

i like that idea - i like it a lot

think maybe the smoothing idea is a good one

dunno what the hell i'm gonna do for now tho - as i have shit all radio reception and a bare wire trailing out of a random whole in my roof!

i'm still also liking the 12V+ aerial to give the t**ts the shock of their life - literally!

i was having the same prob with mine being nicked in the end i removed the mould and put a grommet in the hole i never lisen to the radio anyway

its ok guys its all sorted - i'm personally putting through a new law which says that anyone that damages or steals from another persons motor vehicle must have their hands cut off with a pair of blunt scissors, so its all good
