Many things would fit.. but your question is "Which is the easiest"..

So a z22e would fit nicely? Not bothered about a supercharger?

Easiest is z20let, | |

or you could fit the z22se, from Vectra, astra, zafira, vx220.

Or an mpps flasher tool and the free download programme. Costs about a tenner all in.

quote: You need to transfer over the 1.0 starting and charging loom to the 2.0 and then 2 extra wires need adding to the ECU connector for the MAP sensor... The final complication is you need to find someone to flash the Z20LET ECU map onto the original ECU.. (its actually a really easy job with a KWP2000 device).

cheapest would surely be a saab b204 (2L Turbo) conversion as you can buy these in the cars for less than 500 quid and they're pretty simple to install into a B apparently

What about a 2.0l vectra engine? Let's move from easiest to cheapest as all of the GSi models will be expensive to either buy a engine or a donor car, not a corsa Sri engine though

Z20lets are in the likes of astra gsi's and zafira gsis. A similar engine is the z20leh, found in the astrA vxr

Ah right I see. So what would a z 20 come out of

What would a z20 come out of? I would rather not have a turbo to be fair, would rather run r1 bike carbs if I can, would one of the donor cars I mentioned not be do able?

Z20LET is the easiest.. Same ECU.

Basically my corsa is on its way out but the shell is fairly clean, it's a 53 plate, and being the type of person I am and the mileage I won't get much for it so I thought an engine converaion would be best. What would fit in? I was thinking a Zafira 2.0l? Or something like that or from a vectra or Astra? Which one would be easier? |
