just bought the 2 fast 2 furious dvd??? dont bother with undercar neons, u will look like a nonce

i wasnt trying to sound like a dick head, but seriously. Alot of people will rip it outta u unless ur car (and it would need to be really modified) is up to undercar neons

I like them - better in blue though
Will be getting some LEDs when my whole bodykit etc..... is done

Agree..bloo looks the MUTZ !
Btw, could you use those ultra bright leds instead of neons? Just that they are cheaper than a neon. How many would you say i would need under a car??

Bright leds, about 1 or 2 every 12inches. ABout 10 each side maybe more...
Whats the law on this undercar lighting? I read somewhere its illegal on motorways or if other motorists notice them?

Mutz Nutz mate 
Having a look in the maplins mag and they do high brightness multi coloured jobbies which allow you to get any in the spectrum between red and green. Could be abit of a git wire up though but never mind. Btw, what should i be looking at to determin if they are going to be bright enough? is it the wavelength (eg: 660nm)?

They wont be that hard to wire up...... you get all the led put into a plastic tube and then they just wire like a normal neon would

Yea i guessed the wiring, but its the multi coloured jobbies, since they are 3 pin and use reverse powering as well lol
Eitherway, i take it i should wire up the leds in serial rather than parallel?

you go battery to fuse box, then fuse box to switches (etc) then from there to ya leds/neon. Its simple as that

hate to say it lacky is right........unless you have a seriously modded car (body kit the works) it looks gay..........
of obcourse u have a modded car.......looks smoother than a babys bum!
get em on ur car!
am gettin some for my colt when i get my bodykit from AUS delievered,
like 2 c sumone with same kit in this country

undercar neons dont go from the fusebox. it has its own transformer.. that needs to be bolted to your chassis. for the earth and a wire goes from the transformer to th live.. NO FUSE BOX!
only neons i would advise to go throught the fusebox would be your footwell ones.

better with neons than LEDS
the neons give a better glow...where as the leds seam to just make a straight line of light
