hi there mad lads!!

Im soon going to treat my corsa B GSI to a SFI 20L 16v red top,ive got a conversion kit from pvd and in their kit they suppy a power cap to replace the black plastic box on top of the inlet manifold, they instuct you to cut away part of the bilkhead to allow for this power cap,is this cut away really needed or cud an rubber inlet pipe off sum other engine be used to save cutting the bulkhead and instead of putting this power cap on surely pipe straight in is better for air flow?

Id avoid the powercap as you have to chop the bulkhead. The pipe you mention is from a x20xe Vectra and you need an adaptor plate too.

Fuk cuttin a big hole in the bulkhead when you can use the pipe off the ecotec, does the exact same job but alot less hassle.

The Guru, but he hasn't had his engine cover painted.

PErsonnally, i'd rather keep my torque than gaining a few extra bhp and loosing lots of torque.

And as for engine bays, well, i'll show you in 2004 how good a Corsa enigne bay without powercap can be

Yeah should do. Mine seems to pull really really well. Bit gutless bottomn end, but i think its due to the poo ind kit.
