how do you go about insurance?

i'm thinking of having the corsa for work and perhaps something to race around on a night in.........

Yesh but i have my current policy for the Corsa, do i need a seperate policy for another car, or do i just add the car to my policy for a bit extra.

Otherwise i may stick in mothers name and be 2nd driver as the price will be hell of allot better.....i would imagaine

I have one insurance policy with my NCB on and a seperate one with no NCB on.

i drive my other one on my insurance as it covers me 3rd party, my mam is the named driver/keeper of it and has insurance on it for 200 quid and that includes my dad as a named driver too

You can only use your NCB on one motor, another motor you start from fresh, I.E no NCB.

its not a law, its just how most opperate.

u CAN have 2 cars with the same NCB as some insursance companys take this into concideration and give u a reduced rate on the 2nd car

yeah i asked my insurance company and they said i'll have to take out another policy, shouldn't cost me too much though
