just wondering whats the fasted 0-60 som1 has had out a sri 8v 1.4 and just for interest who rekons they have got the fastest 0-60 on corsasport

speak to drunkenfool for the top speed, he went for it down to max p with 5 people in the car i think! i lost him cos i didnt wanna risk it am sure he's got different cams too.

fasted i've had mine is 106- had the induction kit on which put a major flat spot on top end, taken it off now and pulls better around 80-90 will try again soon

mines a 1.4 8v did 11.7 but on a slight (ver slight) downward gradient. only mod is a powerflow cat abck system. topped out at 112 so far down hill.. probs wudav gone better but bottled it lol

2.0 16v Corsa wont quite touch 140mph.

I done a 6.14 0-60 at trax, but tis Trax times and they are sh1te. 8v SRi in 9.13 Not quite

Daves (luckyB) timne is an official time using offical equipment. Andy Hamiltons 220bhp 1.6 16v done a 6.09 without LSD or anything. He should hit the 5 seconds now

I would take Trax times with a big big pinch of salt. I heard mine and just started laughing ITs quick, but it aint that quick

Luckys topped out at 149mph @ 1.5 miles (about 7500rpm). It used to pull to the 8500rpm limiter in 5th and play with 600cc Fireblades and R6's!!!!!!

Its fairly nippy

1.4 sri 8v, mine did 10.2!! induction and prowler, took it to the rolling road and its now running at 94bhp!!

I know what you say about the trax times Daimo, but my quarter mile time is better than an escort cosworth, but even with a 6.2 0-60 a cossie is going 0-60 half a sec quicker than me.

I also saw a few cossie's doing 0-60's slower than 6.2.

i got 115mph outta mine and it was still goin up 1.4 8 valve only got a bfo cone at the mo

0 - 60 11.0 up a slight hill though

thats fast! i have a 1.6 sport with a de-cat full zorst system and bfo induction kit and top speed ive had is 128mph (then bottled it as i thought my car was about to sprout wings and fly off it was hovering that much)....but before i had the zorst system mine would only go to about 115-119mph (wouldn't quite do 120mph)

that was flat on the motorway with 4 people in the car to be fair i think it has had somethin else done to it whether it is chipped or something i'll have to get it roll and roaded

hi,

ive got a Gsi corsa and its got factory standard of 9 seconds for 0-60!!

ive got viper induction kit and a cat back exaust system.......BUT even before my mods it felt faster than 9 seconds!!

i think its about 7seconds 0-60 now, not sure havnt properly tested.
topspeed i can only get 115mph with full car, with just one passenger i easily hit 120mph and then i eased of the gas coz my windscreen wipers looked like they were gonna rip off also the engines not in top shape, needs tuning!!!

i chased a scooby yesterday from 60 to 125 ( on clock) and he was going nowhere .i knew he was going for it , big puff of smoke when he booted it . i think my speedo is wrong anyway it was revving at 6000 at 125mph.

1.4 16v sport had poweflow cat-back, bfo cone, ecotek, i did 0-60 recorded at santa pod on a run what u brung day was 9.68 secs got a good start too

now got a 1.6 16v sport engine conversion with same mods as above an 4-2-1 exhaust manifold an decat

got lexmaul inlet an unichip in next month or so hope for 8.5 secs if poss

my mate only jus gets 7 secs in his seat 1.8 turbo and thats been chipped kicks out about 200 BHP
