Well i was driving home from work in traffic when i modified scooby was behind me, well he heee

He pulled up next to me when my mate goes "wouldnt it be funny if we slowed down and the guy in the scooby did aswell and we both booted it about 50 / 100yds" I thought "Yeaaaaaaaaaaah" Soooooooooooooooooooo...............

I put my window down he looked at me and smiled

we both slowed right down and gave around 70yds worth of space in front of us, (i was in the inside lane and he was in the outside lane) everyone behind was gettting rather fcuked off

we both looked at each other floored it at exactly the same time (i pulled off in second). Both EXACTLY even the whole time until we caught the cars in front

He slowed back down and gave me the

up as if to say nice one

I was well chuffed with that and didnt actually think i even had a little chance of keeping up with a scooby

I actually thought my car was slow, obviously quicker than the 1.4

but i didn't think it was up with the big boys.

Tonight showed me that it was though so if i make a few alterations then i could be laughing !!

I had a race with a new scooby for about 15 miles.

Found out that it was an off duty copper and he'd been chasing me at 125mph

I was lucky that day.

really, i thaught it was a 1.2 8 valve with k&n, peco backbox and loads of motorsport stickers to bump up the bhp

If i was to dump a 2.0 16v in my 1.2 8v could i upgrade to a turbo afterwards or should i just go for it and get the blower put in at the same time?

Try doin that kinda performance in a C20LET stripped out Nova, runnin around 320bhp + nitrous on tap.

Oh and 1.4 Flair badges on the back. Its untrue - u havent even gotta try to beat standard scoobies etc.

Fun is not the word......its a hell of a lot more than that.

20XE - 155bhp
C20XE - 150bhp
C20LET - 204bhp

0-60, depends what car its in and driver. Scooby weighs a lot more than a corsa dont forget!! And 4wd saps the power big time.

I raced a Scooby WRX on the A355 dual carriage way...

We came onto the dual carriage way - I was getting my car into the power so as soon as he floored it I'd be stuck to his bumper...

He shat on me... He floored it - I floored it, he overtook someone, undertook someone, undertook someone and then turned onto the m40 before I hit 60

Wrong

20XE is the previous engine to the C20XE. Differences, C20XE had a cat, the 20XE did not.

Gregs got a C20XE i think. Only about 65k on it too, was going to be used by the original owner for throttle bodies. Damn good engine!!

Power-weight. A scooby will still win when the speeds get up, but from a rolling start there wouldn't be much in it (awaits the flaming

)

From a standing start though and round a track, scooby would kill the corsa
