kept doin this on way back up from trax.
was totally pissin down and fan belt was squeelin stoney sed cud be my alternator???
cant be my battery tho eh?
coz the lights has never come on when battery is low

If your fanbelt was squealing like mad then it could simply be that the belt wasn't turning the alternator fully.

Try and adjust the belt properly.
