What size tyre is a low profile tyre ? Eg - 195 - 65 - 16 (get what i mean)
They are to fit on 16" alloys with a 45mm drop , so i dont want them to look SHITE ! !

low profile will be the middle number mate, with 16's youll wanna go for 45 or 40 depending on how low you are gonna go. Think most 16" wheel and tyre packages come with 195/45/16 tyres.
Deffo wont want 65 if you are gonna lower it, thats far too big

195 - Width
45 - Profile (Height from side on)
16 - Wheel size
The lower the profile the number, the 'thinner' the tyres will look from a side on view.

note that the profile is relative to the width of the tyre.
ie 45 % of 195 = 88mm

Agreed ^^ theirfore 40 profile in a 195 fitment is lower profile than a 205/40/17 and on a 7J 16" wheel a 40 profile will also be slightly stretched - even better for clearance!
